Bill Stringer Operations Manager and Technician
Bill joined the Navy in 1972 and specialized in Aviation Hydraulics. After his tour in the armed forces, he became a contractor, specializing in high-end residential designs. This led him to his next career as a construction manager for an architectural company in Illinois, focusing on institutional and industrial designs. A few years ago, he decided to join Jim at Mastercomm, which led him to his current role at Phoneworx.

Jim entered the air force in 1977 and mastered the art of telecommunications while serving his country. After the air force, he continued along this path in California and in 2002 started Mastercomm in Atlanta, GA. For over 30 years Jim has been building and programming commercial telephone systems. In his spare time he either takes in a mountain ride on his cruiser or goes on a cruise.
Terry Stringer Director of Business Development
Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, University of Illinois

Terry earned his degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois. After five years in the consulting engineering field, Terry’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to create Intelisolve, a software development company. He also created two of the industry’s most respected trade magazines, CE News and Structural Engineer. Over the years, all three businesses were acquired by large companies. Since Terry can’t sit still for long, he kept tabs on his brothers and their phone business in Atlanta. Too young to retire and too competitive to watch his brothers go it alone, he forced the issue and Phoneworx was born!
